Has Stardock ever considered making customization software for Apple's platforms? DesktopX for example would be great if I could put gadgets into Apple's world
Just sharing this program I've found. http://winaero.com/download.php?view.22 Unlocks some neat animations for windows explorer icon views. The icons can 'expand their positions' from top to bottom or left to right and a couple other variations. Any suggestions from peeps on a desktop widget engine? Windows 8 compatible. I would love something that can render with more speed/flexibility than DesktopX used to be able to. e.g. LittleBoy once released a canvas plugin for DesktopX that let me draw to a HTML5 Canvas direct to the desktop rather than in a browser window. Just wondering if the auto-colour matching and highlight on mouse over of taskbar buttons has been there since windows 7? If the icon is mostly yellow, the highlight is yellow too, and likewise for all other colours. Just a nice touch which I only just noticed!
